Description

Laterza Raw Honeycomb Honey encloses honey directly within the natural wax cells built by the bees. The frame is taken from the honey super, checked and packaged while keeping the honey in its original form, just as it appears inside the hive.

Italian Raw Honeycomb Honey

The product comes from the apiaries of Apicoltura Laterza in Puglia and keeps the honey inside the natural wax cells until the moment of consumption.

Whole frame of approximately 1.5–2 kg

Each frame contains approximately 1.5 to 2 kg of honeycomb honey. Being a natural product, weight, colour and appearance may show slight variations from one frame to another.

Ideal for Ho.Re.Ca., hotels and catering

The whole format is particularly suitable for hotels, B&Bs, breakfast buffets, restaurants, pastry shops, tastings and businesses wishing to present honey directly in its comb.

How to enjoy honeycomb honey

Simply cut a portion of the comb and eat it directly. Beeswax is edible and can be chewed together with the honey or removed after tasting. The product can be served with bread, yoghurt, fruit, cheese and desserts.

Storage

Store the product in a cool, dry place away from direct light and heat sources. The natural crystallisation of honey over time is not a product defect.
